Everyone is aware my knowledge of warefare is limited, however, I'm wondering if Putin is pushing for his 'military operation' to escalate into a global war because he hasn't succeeded in vanquishing Ukraine and President Zelensky, whereas Russia is floundering economically and the Russian people since mobilisation/conscription are protesting.
I am disappointed in hearing of the UN's 'apathy' except for the transportation of grain. Why would Russia attack Moldova when they are still fighting Ukraine; it wasn't all over in 7 days as expected. The dignity and patriotism of the people of Kyiev is truly inspirational and reminds me of J F Kennedy's address where he said something along the line of, 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country.'
