Putin, "not a war, but peace keeping against nazism". The images of people fleeing, cities reduced to rubble and stories of civilians tortured, murdered; doesn't equate with my understanding of peace. His constant threats of escalating warfare (that is Putin speak, 'peacekeeping') to WW111 if The West provides Ukraine with arms, is an absurd attempt to shift blame. He wants to win Ukraine no matter the cost and have those countries still trading with Russia to pay for 'his so-called peace-keeping' in roubles. I cannot believe his rhetoric! Thank goodness for the patriotic , courageous, defiant Ukrains and their leader, valiant President Zelensky.

The words 'Putin' and 'humanitarian' should never appear in the same sentence. Ironic that Putin is warning others about outside intervention in HIS "special military operation" to invade Ukraine.

Putin doesn't seem to be open to negotiation and 'peace' from his perspective is to destroy Ukraine and split it up into several countries. If Russians overthrow Putin then PEACE will be achievable!

I'd just finished reading that Guterres and Putin had agreed on evacuation procedures for those trapped in the steel complex. But it's really not true. They've agreed "in principle" that the UN and Red Cross will assist the evacuation. Again, it's not really true. Putin claims they've offered humanitarian corridors but states that Ukraine defenders are using civilians as shields and not allowing them to leave. Yet again, not true. I don't understand why anyone even bothers to meet with him when he lies and cannot be trusted! Sometimes I wonder if all these "meetings" are just making things worse for the Ukraine.
