Reading the treaty of Belgium which says Russia cannot invade, attack or whatever Ukraine unless to rescue the population, is that his angle? Is that why he says he is rescuing them from naziism and it’s not a war? Why didn’t anyone bring up this scrap of paper in 2014 when he ‘rescued’ crimea?
I like Theodore Roosevelt's quote: "In any moment of decision, the bet thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing and the worst thing you can do is nothing." It appears to me the west, in doing nothing to actually help Zelensky defeat Putin, is the worst thing.
