What a terrible time for those poor, suffering people in Ukraine in bitter weather and coming up to such a sacred time of the year. There will be special prayers from me this Christmas, hoping too that good will prevail over evil.
My daughter will struggle to pay her fuel bills this year, she has 2 young children under 5 and has just been shocked to learn she is expecting twins next year! Her and her husband work. The reason I say this is that she cannot afford to run heating all the time in the cold weather, but we can help her do just that. Families in the same situation in Ukraine, can’t and probably there is no choice but to freeze, or starve, or both. My heart goes out to them
