After two months, deaths continue to mount (on both sides) and the destruction in Ukraine continues, so do the discussions, with Russia warning it is "unacceptable" to supply Ukrainians with weapons to defend themselves. With the anniversary of the 1945 VE Day approaching, I believe Putin use that day to announce victory, Putin will "discuss" nothing less than total victory.

How useful was the American visit? Dare we say it was a blink and miss it one? As for the visit by the UN Secretary General, apparently he has only spoken to Zelenskyy once. How can you negotiate when you have an agenda of your own?

The problem I have with the UN as it stands is that it never wants to take sides, but everyone takes a side but they don't always declare it in public. Humanity is doomed if people are afraid to stand up for what is right for fear of what others may think, or because they need to appear neutral. When it comes to crime, there is only one side to take and there is no middle ground IMHO.
