I have to admit I haven't read the article, nor comments, however, the headline got my interest: how can Russia talk of charging Ukraine with 'war crimes' when Russia insists it is a 'military operation'. Furthermore, didn't Russia react harshly to an individual who referred to this 'military operation' as war?
Russia wants to charge Ukraine with war crimes and wants an independent tribunal of countries neutral to Ukraine because others would not be fair, BUT PRO-RUSSIAN COUNTRIES WOULD (PRESUMABLY ??) WOULD BE???
Six months into this war, understandably fatigue is settling in for many of my contemporaries, we've been through this before, having lived through World War 2.

This is yet another instance of how the invasion is reshaping global alliances, and not in a good way. I do hope the West takes note of this and realises that these realignments make it more urgent for its own sake that it do everything it can to stop the success of the invasion.
The Spectator has up a very interesting piece, under a pseudonym, from someone on the front lines, that drills down into the real status of each side's military status. I will not provide the link here, but the author's name as listed is Sarah Lensky, and the title is, "The Tide is Turning in Russia's War on Ukraine". I highly recommend it for its specificity, and, it does assert what most of us believe: that if the West supports Ukraine sufficiently, Ukraine can win this war. TC
It seems as if within Ukraine and NATO there are too many trading sensitive and critical information to the Russians.
