I don’t usually comment on the Ukraine crisis as I feel quite overwhelmed by the whole situation. Imo Putin is a loose cannon and cannot be trusted to adhere to any laws, making negotiations impossible. The UN is completely ineffective. I applaud the Ukraine’s defiance and their leader standing strong but sadly I cannot see a swift end to the conflict. Listening to their pleads for help is just heart breaking.
Putin will never negotiate. I agree all the leader/politicians are "Chamberlaines", just like Neville who, up until now, has been known as the famous appeaser to Hitler. They will go down in history as appeasers to Putin. I see that as their legacy even though they claim to support Ukraine by supplying arms. I remain hopeful that between now and Orthodox Easter on Sunday, the clergy who blessed Putin and his military machine will denounce Putin.
