Will The Grain Blockade Be Lifted?
North Korea recognises the Donetsk and Luhansk separatist states
The grain blockade continues, but Russia is reluctant to cooperate knowing that the grain is a means to hold the West and Ukraine hostage to their demands. It also means that there will be less grain for them to steal

A concern has arisen recently as to what position the UK will take when Boris Johnson leaves his role as Prime Minister. There appears to have been an orchestrated coup, with a disgraced former aide who appears to have been involved. In a private blog, Cummings appears to have outlined what position Sunak (who he is backing) will take, and that would be a Macron line, to let Ukraine cede land to Russia. Is this because there are Russian interests that have nudged Cummings and co? Cummings, it seems is advocating letting Ukraine fall, so we must assume that is what any contender that he backs will do.
Boris Johnson, despite all his faults stood strong and led the way to defend Europe and has stood firm in his support for Ukraine. There is a difference between making a mistake (as Boris has done) and planning a conspiracy to overthrow the government for political ambition.
I believe the UK should be concerned if this is the case, and that any leader backed by Cummings and co should be treated with suspicion as to their motives. The speed at which Boris was ousted is highly suspect, and it appeared as if they tried every means to remove him if there are factions within who have Russian sympathies. This would be an incentive to remove Boris, who was a Russian threat as the UK was providing too much support to Ukraine. Perhaps some of the backstabbers had no idea who was pulling their strings with money as blind ambition got in the way of morals, ethics, and integrity?
It is no secret that Cummings has Russian ties having lived there for 3 years (1994-1997) that we know of and so questions should be asked given that he has privately recommended and supported pro-Russian propaganda.
The more we look at things it seems that Boris was a Russian obstacle that needed to be removed, and Sunak has been primed to be a puppet for the last couple of years. There will always be Boris ‘haters’ and those who hate the Conservative party in general, but from I have seen people have come out to support Boris and he is the best that there is for now, and the closest we have to a Churchill or Thatcher. By removing Boris, it has made the UK, Ukraine and the world a more vulnerable place against Russia. Some may not see that right now, nor will people want to acknowledge it but the analysts know this to be the case. The next UK Prime Minister probably knows that they are a ‘caretaker’ until an election, because the UK chose to leave the EU to take control and they are not happy that their chosen Prime Minister has been ousted by a coup that may or may not have been orchestrated with some Russian influence or money.

Day 140 (13 July)
Civilians in occupied Melitopol have been used as human shields as Russian have blocked the city

The meeting on the grain blockade is held in Turkey, with the UN, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Reports claim there is little headway as Russia do not want Ukraine to have a source of income that will help them defend themselves against their ‘special military operation’.
The EU has stated it will not recognise Russian passports issued in the occupied regions of Ukraine. How they will enforce that I do not know, but it needs to be worldwide and not just in the EU. The UN needs to step in here and make a declaration.
The unofficial proxy government in the Donetsk People’s Republic have lifted the ban on the death penalty

Russia is pursuing charges against a Russian activist, Ilya Yashin who has spoken out against the Kremlin, with the accusation of spreading false information about the special military operation. He spent 15 days in prison and was due to be released, and is now being charged under the new laws which mean he could spend 15 years in prison

There are concerns over how the UK will support Ukraine once Boris Johnson leaves office. Johnson has been a staunch supporter of defending Ukraine’s right to freedom and democracy and to enable them to defend themselves.
Comments made in a private blog by Dominic Cummings who was previously an advisor to the Prime Minister, and who is now backing Rishi Sunak reveal that their position is to coerce Ukraine to cede land to Russia (like Macron and Scholz). Some believe that Cummings is behind the coup to oust Johnson and has supported Sunak in doing so.
North Korea is the third country to recognise the self-proclaimed breakaway states of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic. This is in addition to Russia and Syria, all authoritarian countries.
The US has condemned the Russian filtration camps as a war crime, that have been in place to capture Ukrainians that the Russians deem a threat, and also as an act of genocide by wiping out all that is Ukrainian. The US have requested Russia halt all deportations, but do we really think Russia will listen or care what the US thinks?
In addition, Ukrainian intelligence has evidence that these filtration camps were set up prior to the invasion, with documents stating that the camps would be ready by 21 Februrary and detailed how many people it would hold. These camps were designed along the lines of the Holocaust in World War II, and the world had better accept the fact that Russia will not stop because the US and the West says so.
.
It would be another disaster if the UK changes its position on the war in Ukraine. Evil Putin continues to use essentials, grain and energy, as weapons of war.
