Day 274 (24 November) Power has been reconnected to the three power plants that had been disconnected. Ukrainians across the country have no power, heat, or water, but they have their freedom and are not complaining about the lack of facilities. They know it is not the fault of the government as people queue up at night to fill their water buckets.

When will Russia be held accountable? I listened to an interview of Ukrainia's First Lady, Elena Zelensky and admire her dedication and solidarity with the Ukraianians: they hope to be equals in an EU membership; so very different to Putin and his regime.
Just imagine "consoling" grieving mothers of sons killed that their children did not belong to them, they belonged to the Russian State. Some consolation!!!
Bottom line is, that all the 'help' in the world is not going to take the place of physical bodies coming in to fight with the Ukrainians and take out the Russian factions. But none of the Big 3 (EU, NATO, UN) have shown the guts to do just that. All I keep hearing from them is 'blah, blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda.' Quite a shame.
