The 8th Anniversary of MH17 Shot Down By Pro-Russians In Donetsk
More Ukrainian traitors are arrested as many try to flee the country in disguise
Day 144 (17 July)
Russians have visited Iran with a view to acquiring drones to use in the invasion of Ukraine. US intelligence have reported this, but what will the West do with this information? Wait and see if it happens, or wait until the drones are used? Will sanctions against Iran be proposed, and will NATO consider this a third party supplying weapons to aid an unjust and unprovoked invasion.
John Harding, a captured British man who was taken during the Azov battle has appeared on video asking Boris Johnson to help, and to speak to Zelenskyy and Putin as he possibly faces the death penalty. This is again why the Conservatives were selfish because Harding has no idea of the domestic instability in the UK right now and this will probably cost him his life and others too
.
Today is the anniversary of crash of MH17, a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that was shot down by Russian rebels in the self-proclaimed region of Donetsk People’s Republic in 2014. They thought they had shot down a Ukrainian plane, and killed 298 people onboard. This is when Crimea had just been annexed and the war in Donbas has begun. Most of the passengers were Dutch nationals. This is a reminder that the world was aware of what was going on in Donbas, but nothing on an international level was done, and now everyone knows about the war in Donbas and those responsible for the crash have not been prosecuted still.
The former chief of the SBU in Crimea has been arrested while trying to escape, accused of treason. Oleg Kulinich has been photographed being detained. He had previously been connected with the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian government).
More Russians are leaving Putin’s Russia, fearing that remaining will lead to loss of careers, economic stability, and the freedoms they currently still have.
Russian aircraft have been flying close to NATO borders in Norway and the Artic Circle. NATO jets moved to intercept them as a deterrent and warning.
There are to date around 23,000 war crimes being investigated in Ukraine carried out by the Russians. A political declaration of 45 countries have agreed to work together to prosecute the crimes.
Russian missiles are being launched from the Caspian Sea and targets include agricultural fields so that grain cannot be harvested.
It is particularly distressing that due to the instability in the UK, John Harding the captured British man, and others could lose their lives. Of course these poor prisoners would not even be aware of the power struggle going on.
