Russia Halts Gas Supply To Germany For 10 Days
More pro-Russian traitors are arrested in Ukraine
Russia is using gas and grain as bargaining tools in order to try and force countries to stop sending aid to Ukraine. The grain issue continues with stolen grain being shipped to ‘Russian friendly’ countries, while Ukrainian grain is trapped as it gets wasted in the heat.
We are seeing more civilians and officials being arrested in Ukraine for treason, as Russia plans further steps by recruiting informants in NATO border countries to provide intelligence. Those who think Russia will stop must face the fact that they have nothing to lose as it is Ukrainian cities and towns that are being destroyed. They are making billions from gas and this is what is funding the war. Soldiers are expendable as they recruit convicts who are being offered amnesty deals if they fight. One would think they are reading a Tolstoy novel, but this is real life in the here and now.
Day 137 (10 July)
Reports claim that Russians are forcing parents to send their children to pro-Russian schools. Threats have been made and there are claims that there is coercion in forcing people to have Russian passports.
More traitors have been arrested in Donetsk for allegedly passing information to the Russians using a messenger service. These are the areas that have been hit badly by missiles, and people have died as a result of their betrayal.
Reports claim that Germany is blocking the EU plan to provide €9 billion of aid to Ukraine. According the the Italian Corriere Della Sera, Germany has blocked the proposal for more than a month, having only approved €1 billion in aid. This is claimed because Germany disapproved of the EU funds being used to fund Ukraine. I have no doubt other countries might disapprove, but that is why the EU is not as united as it likes to think.
A huge missile attack on Chasiv Yar in Eastern Ukraine on 9 July 2022, has killed more than 15 people. Residential buildings were targeted and are now rubble. Rescue teams are still searching for bodies
.
Belarus is looking to recruit Latvian officials as spies near the NATO border in order for them to provide tactical information. This would be passed to Russia and used should the war escalate. This is similar to what they did in Ukraine after Crimea was annexed and bought a number of informants.
More traitors in Luhansk, where 9 police officers have been arrested for alleged treason. These officers chose to join the Russians after the region was occupied, and this is deemed treasonous.
Day 138 (11 July)
Maksym Butkevych, a human rights activist has been captured by the Russians. He has been missing for a month, and the Russians have just confirmed that they are holding him captive.
Russia is halting the gas supply to Germany via the Nord Stream 1 for 10 days for alleged maintenance work. In recent times, the capacity had been reduced to 40% of the output due to an alleged delay in equipment being repaired. Other see this as a warning sign to Germany not to support Ukraine. The pipeline will also affect supplies to Italy, as the energy provider (Eni) says they expect a third less from Gazprom to be delivered. The gas supply will be reduced from today until 21 July, but Germany is aware that the service may not resume for political reasons.
Canada has delivered the Siemens turbine it had repaired to Germany despite Ukraine requesting them not to do so. Is it in violation of sanctions? Sanctions are always voluntary, and Canada is claiming that it is returning an item that was sent for repair until a time limited permit.
