It is interesting that China and India are reluctant to publically endorse the Russian 'military operation' in Ukraine. False flags, weaponising energy and hunger are no surprise. It is disheartening the rhetoric around 'retrospect', Scholz (Germany), 'react more harshly to the annexation of Crimea.' Hindsight. Based on hindsight I think E.L. your statement warns the West not to follow up the Crimean mistake: " a peaceful deal where land is ceded would mean that all those lives sacrificed were in vain." Erdogan ( Turkey)pontificating negotiation, we know isn't about peace, but ceding land to Russia. The 'horrific war crimes' you note of mass graves and torture uncovered in territory liberated by Ukraine emphasize that Russia's 'military operation' is terrorism, especially since Russia hasn't officially declared war. Pope Francis's support for the Ukraine infers terrorism, "morally legitimate for nations to supply weapons to Ukraine to help the country defend itself from Russian aggression." It is time we stopped appeasing, placating behaviours that threaten and cause massive suffering, even death!
