Kyiv Targeted Again And Liberated Kherson Attacked
The news that the US may sent Patriot long range missiles led to further attacks on the capital city
Day 294 (14 December)
The day began with early missile attacks in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv and heavy shelling in the recently liberated Kherson.
In the US, five Russian citizens and two US nationals were charged with conspiracy to obtain and ship American military technology to Russia worth millions of dollars.
One home that was raided was in New Hampshire, where Alexey Brayman’s (US resident) house was allegedly used as a clearing house for military components to be shipped to Russia. Vadim Yermolenko (US citizen) of New Jersey was also charged with conspiracy and both could face up to 30 years in prison as Russian spies. They created forged documents to set up shell companies to purchase military components to develop nuclear weapons for Moscow based companies, (Sertal LLC and Serniya Engineering)shipped them through Boston to Estonia and Germany, where they were forwarded to Russia.
Others named, include Yevgeniy Grinin, Alexsey Ippolitov, Boris Lovshitsm Svetlana Skvortsova, and Vadim Konoschchenok. Konoschchenok is claimed to work for the Russian Secret Service in Estonia and is due to be extradited. The others have not yet been detained,
Another prisoner swap took place where 64 people were returned to Ukraine including Suedi Murekezi, a US citizen who was volunteering in Kherson before he was captured by the Russians in June 2022.
The UK is reported to be training 90 Ukrainian judges to prepare them for the war crime trials that are expected in a special tribunal to be set up. Training began in a secret location on 5 December 2022.
The Ukrainian people have been awarded the Sakharov Prize, this is a prize for Freedom of Thought and is an honorary award for individuals or groups who defend human rights and freedom of thought. Zelenskyy accepted the award on behalf of the people of Ukraine.
A children’s torture chamber has been found in Kherson, were children who were thought to have helped the Ukrainians were detained and tortured.
Red squares are seen on Belarusian military equipment, and is indicative of a sign that Belarus will actively become part of the war. Belarus says they are ‘testing’ how ready they are for war
The Global Peace Formula Summit ended in Paris, where Zelenskyy requested support and aid from other parties to assist with the energy crisis. For many Ukrainians it will be a cold and dangerous winter. People will suffer and die, and that is what the Russians want, yet still the UN sits on its hands and twiddles their fingers. They must come up with some kind of international punishment for this deliberate act to cause a humanitarian crisis.
Day 295 (15 December)
Zelenskyy was interviewed by David Letterman in October, and this was aired a couple of days ago.
Several countries have signed a letter of protest to France, due to Macron’s request for Russia to have security guarantees. The signatories included Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czechia and Slovakia. The démarche was initiated by the Czech Republic which holds the current EU presidency.
Russia is resorting to trench warfare and have been busy building trenches, so there is little chance that they aim to retreat or to stop the war. They have used a combination of trench techniques—anti-tank trenches (to stop tanks), Dragon’s Teeth (concrete obstacles to prevent vehicles from passing), Pill Box trenches, that allow access across terrain with cover.
Lukashenko of Belarus is poised to send Belarusian troops into Ukraine to assist Russia in securing Kyiv. Kyiv has always been the top target, and as it is in the north, Belarus is closer to use as a point of entry and as an attack point. We have known this from the start, and Belarus seems to have been slowly preparing troops along the border. Should this happen, then where does NATO stand? It is no longer a conflict between two countries, where another third party is providing troops of their own on the ground.
The US is planning on sending advanced weapons to Ukraine to help them track and destroy Russian missiles. The fact this information has been released indicates that it has probably already happened, and Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained on how to use the weapons. Russia may consider this an act of escalation, but then again, they are using troops in Belarus and Belarusian troops and weapons, and also drones from Iran, complete with Iranian personnel to man the weapons.
The EU and NATO are on the brink of issuing a joint statement after 9 months of war in Ukraine. It is alleged to state their support for Ukraine and their right to defend themselves, and also to choose their ‘own destiny’, as in when they wish to negotiate terms and to retain their territorial integrity.
It is ungodly evil that a torture chamber has been found where CHILDREN were detained and TORTURED.
